Hospital & Financial Health Care Reports
Vermont hospitals use uniform reporting formats to provide financial, scope-of-services, and utilization data to the Division of Health Care Administration (HCA). This information is compiled to support the annual hospital budget review process.
Cost Shift Report This report defines the cost shift and provides information on the amount of Vermont's hospital cost shift and its impact on different aspects of Vermont's health care system.

- Vermont Community Hospital Financial and Statistical Profiles: 2012 Budget: This report provides both system summary and individual hospital information by key ratios, statistics, and indicators.
- Vermont Community Hospital Financial and Statistical Trends: 2012 Budget: This report is prepared to document, monitor, compare, and trend much of the Vermont hospital budget information using key ratios, statistics, and indicators. The hospitals are ranked with their peers according to number of beds, designation, and statewide groupings.
- FY 2011 Vermont Hospital Budget Report: The objective of the FY 2011 Vermont Hospital Budget Report is to present the results of the annual hospital budget approvals that occurred for FY 2011. The report will outline the rates established for each hospital as well as provide findings across the system noted during the Budget Reviews held in August 2010.
- Udated Vermont Hospital FY 2011 Budget Report: This report is an update of 2011 and includes FY 2010 actual results and updated cost shift analysis. The report outlines the rates established for each hospital as well as provides findings across the system that were noted during the Budget Reviews held in August 2010.
- Act 53 Hospital Report Cards: Comparison reports for Vermont hospitals covering quality of care, patient satisfaction with care, infections rates, and pricing and financial data.
