RATE FILING SUMMARY

BlueCross BlueShield’s Provision for Large Claims and Stop Loss Filing for 2013.

The company is proposing to adjust the price of BCBSVT’s: (1) specific stop loss coverage offerings to Cost Plus groups; (2) the provision for large claims factors for experience-rated groups; and (3) the pooling factors used for the company’s nongroup and Safety Net rate filings.  New factors from this filing will be used to in the development of rates for groups renewing or enrolling with BCBSVT during 2013.
