NCUA mails checks to Border Lodge Credit Union members

MONTPELIER – The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) today mailed the attached letter to members of the Border Lodge Credit Union in Derby Line regarding payment of their share balances. The credit union was closed last Friday by order of the Department of Financial Regulation (DFR), which appointed the NCUA as liquidator.
DFR Commissioner Steve Kimbell complimented the NCUA for its prompt action in restoring funds to credit union members.
